When Should We Visit An Astrologer And When Should We Not

Did you know there is a right time for everything in our lives including an Astrology Reading? If you have always been intrigued by Astrology yet also been sceptical about it, this short guide will tell you when should you visit an Astrologer and when should you not.

WHEN SHOULD WE VISIT AN ASTROLOGER ?

1. INNER CALLING – WHEN LIFE SEEMS OVERWHELMING & BEYOND OUR CONTROL

The best time to visit an astrologer is when we have an inner calling for it. When something inside us gently nudges us to go and look for answers because Life or Situations feel bigger than us, overwhelming or beyond our control. When things happen that may be so big or so painful that we fail to understand how they happened, why they happened and how to accept them. It is only then, when we go with a deep inner urge and with a seeker’s surrender and humility that we will be able to understand the guidance from the stars. And it is only then that the answers will actually help us. We will get some meaning from them, some clue, some direction, some hope, some insight that we need at that point in our life journey. This will then enable us to take the appropriate action to improve our situation.

2. INNER CALLING – FOR SELF-TRANSFORMATION & GROWTH

When we are ready to understand, love and respect ourselves more deeply by understanding and accepting our strengths, talents, weaknesses and are keen to use this information to grow into a better version of ourself. When we are keen to understand the journey we have had, the mindset, traits and behavioural patterns which may have led us to certain situations in our life. When we are willing and committed to make inner changes that will help us make better decisions in our present and future, so that we can create and live the life we truly want. When we are keen to embrace a new soulful way of living.

WHEN SHOULD WE NOT VISIT AN ASTROLOGER?

1. WHEN WE DON’T FEEL ANY INNER CALLING BUT ON THE INSISTENCE OF OTHERS

When we don’t have an inner calling, but someone around us in our family or friends urges us to get a reading. Even though they may have their best intention in doing so, our soul will not pick up useful information in this case as it doesn’t feel the inner calling. And even if we do get the right message, we may simply pass it on as unimportant or unneeded as our soul is not truly looking for answers at this stage because our immature Ego is still at play.

2. WHEN WE GO LOOKING FOR QUICK REMEDIES/EASY SOLUTIONS

Astrology can guide us and help us understand ourselves (our soul) & our journey (our soul’s unique path), why we are where we are and what we can do about it, but unless we are ready to work on ourself and think and act differently, it cannot offer us magic solutions. Our desperation for quick solutions may actually make us gullible to misinformation.

3. CURIOSITY TO SIMPLY KNOW THE FUTURE/FUTURE EVENTS

This can be a quick but narrow approach to astrology as it can make us either fearful of the future expecting a bad event or laid-back about the future expecting easy fortune. A broader approach would be to curious about timings but also about the self, about the process and the changes that we need to make in ourself and in our life, in order to prepare ourself for the upcoming events, good or bad.
