Do you know what the best astrological remedy of all is? The one remedy that has the power to actually transform our karma and our life? The easy remedy that we can do anytime, anywhere? The simple remedy we can go back to any number of times?

The best astrological remedy of all is the Self.
It is this Inner Remedy that is the Master Remedy of all. Working on our Self from within, on who we are and on our traits, is what actually has the power to transform our destiny and our lives. And to be able to do this we must understand the correlation between the planets and various aspect of our personality and character.

PLANETS = QUALITIES AND TRAITS IN OURSELF
Each planet in astrology represents certain qualities in us. Hence when all planets are put together they make up for a complete wholesome, almost perfect, divine individual/soul with all aspects of their personality and character well developed. However for most of us, some planets will be strong and some will be weak in our birth charts or horoscopes.
When a planet is weak in a birth chart, it means that the qualities signified by that planet will be weak or less developed in that soul at the start of this lifetime. It is like a default setting that the soul is born with. The soul’s task then, in this lifetime, is to work on those particular aspects of one’s character and develop the qualities in question. And when we work on our Self, and develop and eventually master that quality as part of our nature and character, our inner change naturally manifests itself in the outer world as the outer representations of that planet e.g. greater health, love, success, money and abundance.
Hence, the best remedy of all, is none other than our own Self, to work on our nature and qualities and evolve.

HOW DO WE DEVELOP OR ENHANCE A PARTICULAR QUALITY/TRAIT THAT MAY BE WEAK?
How do we develop a particular quality that may be lacking or is weak in our character?
1) First, by becoming aware that we may be lacking a certain a quality either through:
- Self-Awareness and Self-Reflection (if we are deeply attuned to ourself)
- Feedback from those around us
- Insights gained via an Astrology Reading
2) Then by observing how we express or don’t express that quality in our daily interactions (Self-Observation)
3) Finally, by consistent and repeated action, by bringing that quality into action on a daily basis, no matter how small that action is, so that slowly that quality becomes a part of our core, inherent nature. That is the inner soul work we need to do as a remedy for all our weak planets.

EXTERNAL REMEDIES
While external remedies definitely assist in invoking the energy of the planet, their effect may only last as long as the person doing them truly believes in them.
It is the person’s own positive and empowered mindset after or while doing the external remedy that manifests in positive results outside. But by only focusing on external remedies, the soul’s inner work will still remain incomplete and hence the results we see outside will also be fleeting/temporary and limited. But when we ensure we are also doing the inner soul work, that’s when true progress will result.
AN EXAMPLE
Eg. IF SUN IS WEAK IN ONE’S BIRTH CHART
It means that qualities that are signified by the planet Sun eg Self-Identity, Self-Esteem/Self-confidence, Clarity of Goals, Consistency in Action etc may be weak or less developed in the soul in this lifetime. The true remedy for improving one’s Sun then is to work on these particular qualities and practice them more and more in our day to day lives.
A weak Sun may mean that the soul’s Sense of Identity is weak and not very well developed at the start of this lifetime. His sense of Self-Esteem and Self-Worth may be poor. He may lack in Self-Confidence. Such a soul may depend on others to derive his Self-Confidence. He may adopt people-pleasing behaviours to keep everyone happy and derive their sense of worth from other peoples’s approval and validation of them. They may link their sense of Self-Worth to their partner/spouse and lose themselves completely when in a relationship. A soul with such low Self-Esteem may always need external support from other people/things/achievements to feel confident and good about themselves. This external dependency on their own Sense of Self is what reduces their potential for overall success in life.
The inner soul work here, then, is to develop an intrinsic sense of Self-Identity and sense of Self-Worth and not be overly or completely dependent on other peoples’ liking, validation or approval. Self-Confidence must ideally stem from the Self and not from external things, people and achievements. When the soul works on themselves and develops this improved Self-Identity and Self-Confidence it will naturally manifest as greater success, fame and status in their life.
A weak Sun may also mean the soul lacks Clarity in their Goals and Consistency in their Actions. The may be confused about what to do, what career path to follow, what goals to pursue. They may be inconsistent in their efforts, change their minds or goals often or may leave things/projects midway before the desired results are achieved. Hence they may get success and status in life after much effort and struggle. Or they may only get fleeting success that does not satisfy them much in the long run.
The inner soul work here, then, is to become clear about one’s goals in life, small or big. To have absolute clarity about what it is that one wants to achieve and then consistently work towards it. The more the clarity of one’s goals and the more the consistency in one’s action, the greater and quicker will be one’s success in the outer world.

The above example is to demonstrate that in order to improve our stars and hence our destiny, we must to focus on our inner soul work as much as we focus on the outer world actions and remedies. When we are accomplished in our character and the inner qualities that are signified by the divine planets, the worldly accomplishments will easily follow and lastingly stay.

May we all be blessed by the wisdom of the stars! Happy Seeking!
Love & Power, Richa
